Lauren Edgeworth is Miss Prim and Proper she is also a woman marked by tragedy. ![]() ![]() The first prequel, One Night for Love, had a rather bizarre storyline and I wasn’t sure how I would take to that.Ī Summer to Remember grabbed me from the second, if not the first chapter, and I can say, having read it three times, that it is one of my favourite novels of all time. A perusal of Goodreads left me with the impression that A Summer to Remember, among the prequels to her Bedwyn series, is one of her most beloved novels, so I decided to start with that, although it’s not the first prequel on the list. After my relative disappointment with Manda Collins’ “how to” series, I turned to Mary Balogh. ![]()
